Head Coach: Pete Wellborn
Pete Wellborn is an attorney by occupation and a coach by passion. Beginning with his inaugural football campaign at age seven, he has played or coached more than 90 seasons of
competitive athletics. The Macon native was an 8-time letterman in high school in baseball, football, and basketball, and then played 4 years of football al Georgia Tech. While in law
school, Wellborn coached a 16-18 year-old baseball team that won the Georgia championship and the Southeastern U.S. championship before bowing out in the National Championship round in
Miami. Before migrating to the Flames travel ball program, Wellborn coached in the NYO (Chaslain Park) and Terrell Mill organizations. In 2006, he led the NYO 10U team (a
recreation-league All-Star team) to the Final Four of the GSA State Championship. In 2007, his Titans finished the season on a 27-4 run that included four Championships. Wellborn's
sports philosophy can be summed-up in 4 words: FUN! - HUSTLE! - TEAM- WIN!

Assistant Coach: Dustin Holton
Dustin Holton comes to the Atlanta Flames organization by way of Top Dog Sports, one of the top softball training facilities in the state. Holton's areas of softball expertise
include all aspects (mental and physical) of playing catcher, which was his position in his baseball playing days. Holton is also one of the top ASA/NCAA umpires in the Southeastern United
States and has called literally hundreds of games with national significance (including the game in which Monica Abbott tied the Division 1 record for career wins). Holton has both an
encyclopedic knowledge of the game and its rules and a quiet easy-going demeanor that allows him to communicate his knowledge with maximum effect.
