NSA Spring Classic Tournament - Game 4
A good looking Force Heat team sent a strong message of what "A" level softball is about...throw a good pitcher, play good defense and make your opponents pay dearly for their mistakes. Being very opportunistic, the Ringgold, GA team pushed across 5 runs without getting a single hit in the game. The Flames seemed to be coming out of their day-long fog in the 3rd when Princess Krebs tripled in Erin Meyers, who was then knocked in by a Scoop Foulke single to tie the game at 2-2. But a "train-wreck" in the bottom of the 4th by the Flames defense took the wind out of the sails and spelled the end of day sending the North Fulton girls back to the hotel with a 0-3 day. The bright spots of the evening saw Scoop and Meghan Light giving up no hits in their 2 innings each on the mound and also two nifty plays at 2nd base by Foulke who went once to her backhand for a stab and then went diving in the hole to her left to rob another hit.

NSA Spring Classic Tournament - Game 2 (Pool) A
lot of Flames saw some time on the base paths but none could get past 3rd
in a game that had statistician Steve Whipple jotting down "8
LOB" in the scorebook. Flirting with scoring
opportunities, the cardinal-clad clan couldn't capitalize on the hits by
Olivia Doud, Erin Meyers (2), Princess Krebs and Erika Hoffner.
Meyers and Scoop Foulke shared the pitching chores and were sharp
all morning. The Chattanooga team could only muster two hits
but one was the all-important single in the "international
tie-breaker" 6th inning that plated the winning run.

NSA Spring Classic Tournament - Game 1 (Pool) with the Flames-faithful bundled up doing their best imitation of a Juneau, AK family reunion, the North Fulton gals jumped out to a 4-2 lead only to be overcome by 4-error 6-run 3rd inning by the Fire.
